Happy Birthday Jeff! Uh... from your own website. Schizophrenic? Maybe just a little.
Anyway, the reviews from "Hammy" are in and posted in the Projects section... have a read. The pictures are great... as all of Carol Rosegg's photos are... always! Bless her little cotton socks for letting me post them :) |

With rehearsals for Hamlet in full swing, and an opening night rapidly approaching in just less than 2 weeks, Jeff certainly has his hands full!
Anywho, I threw some articles and press stuff for 'Hammy' at the Press section, including the Shakespeare Theatre's official press release. Good stuff. Not much else going on... oh... have been getting a lot of these two questions, so I'll answer them here: 1) The folks down in DC have decided to keep the length of Jeff's hair for Hamlet. It was lightened quite a bit, and trimmed I believe... but at this point, from what I understand, it's still quite long. There are pictures on the Shakespeare Theatre website found in the Projects and Links section here on this site. 2) Jeffrey doesn't have a CD, and has no plans to record one. He appears on the Original Broadway Cast recording of Taboo, which you can find a link to on the main page above. Also, ABC has no plans as of yet to include Jeffrey's songs from AMC on a CD. This ends our Public Service Announcement :P |

We'll miss her... it's been quite a journey... for Zoe, and for everyone she touched. But the door isn't closed!
Hamlet's coming up... Jeff's in DC now doing rehearsals. Couple of things to post, but I just moved and am starting a new job tonight, so, lol... when I can. Anywho, keep an eye out... I'll be putting stuff up here and there! Get your Hamlet tickets! |

Zoe's been a bit of a whirlwind, eh?
Well, so has life, which is why you haven't heard from me in a bit. Then again, not much has gone on. We tune in every day at 1pm (or 8pm, if it's Soapnet), sometimes we see Zoe, sometimes we don't. That's kind of it. Of course there is the new People mag... which everyone should run out and get immediately! Anywho, I redid the Media section. I think it's rather snazzy. I've gotten a chance to start adding the wonderful Zoe montages that fans from our forum have put together... you'll see more and more come up, as space allows of course (and maybe you'll see some come down.. those things are HONKERS as far as space is concerned!) That's about it. OH. If you're going to join the forum, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE take a moment to read the rules that are posted on every board before posting! It helps me a lot :) |

Wow.
The amount of responses and feedback and articles and fans and EVERYBODY that we've encountered since Jeffrey began the role of Zarf/Zoe on All My Children has been astounding. Just want to clear up a few concerns I've fielded through e-mails and whatnot, regarding MySpace: *Lots of you have found me on MySpace. Great! You've sent me friend requests. I denied them... bad! See, anybody that's been on MySpace knows the amount of spam friend requests and accounts that steal your password when you view them... so I apologize. I will be more than happy to accept any request if you just let me know who you are! *Lots of you have probably also sent requests to the website MySpace account also, and probably gotten no response. I have a lot of issues with logging in to the account... I'm not sure why, but I'm hesitant to start over new because there are a lot of people who have found it and who may have problems finding a new one, should I do it. This is also the reason why it seems to never be updated. I apologize! *I've received lots of requests from people wishing to join Stars of Jeffrey-Carlson.com, the MySpace group attached to my personal MySpace. Jeffrey loves it when people post on our normal forum, which can be found in the Buzz section of this site... So if you could register and post there, that'd be terrific. Besides, Jeffrey doesn't know the group exists, but he does frequent the Forum. So you're more likely to hear from him there as well :) We're so happy to see the positive reactions to Zoe... and we'd love to hear from you on the Forum! |

Holy Helen of Troy.
There has been a literal explosion since the Associated Press broke the storyline for Jeff's character Zarf, on AMC. As most of you must know by now, Zarf is transgender. This is ginormous! Nobody in daytime television has done this... but I for one am THRILLED that something as huge as All My Children is going raise awareness about the transgender community. And it's so amazing that Jeff has the opportunity to, well.. be the face of that awareness. I can't even verbalize how incredible the whole thing is. There's a great site that Jeff told me about last night... http://www.transfamily.org... this site is amazing. There's basic information about the transgender community... but there are also letters to loved ones from people who are transgendered explaining their feelings and experiences, and stories and books and it's just a beautiful, touching site. I know from browsing the All My Children message board that so many people really can't grasp the concept... so if you want to learn, this is a good place to start. There are going to be some appearances coming up... namely The View and Entertainment Tonight, plus I think a magazine interview as well. I'll be putting the mag up as soon as I find it, probably tomorrow, and the details for The View and ET will be up tomorrow as well. Ooookay now, down to business. As you can see, we've had a facelift here at Jeffrey-Carlson.com... :) It's very late and I'm going to collapse at work tomorrow if I do any more. There are still changes to the front page to be made, the Links section is in TERRIBLE need of repair and whatnot... and a few miscellaneous details here and there. REMEMBER.. especially with these new changes... 800x600 absolutely does NOT display properly. You will not be able to see all of the menus on the top and left side. So please set your res to 1024 or higher! And as you've probably noticed, I've brought back our Christmas portal page. For those of you who are members of the forum, I'll be sending the annual Holiday Card Ring email out in the next few days. |

Just a quick FYI, I will be posting info about Jeffrey's AMC airdates in the next few days, and also the details for some appearances that are going to go along with Zarf's return to AMC.
A new board has been added to the forum for anyone wanting to chat about Zarf. The forum has been awfully quiet for a long time, and we're hoping this big project is going to bring a few new friends around. So sign in and post... don't be a stranger. Be prepared for a site overhaul in the short time before the first AMC airdate. Things may not be moved but it's going to look a lot different than it has since its "debut" on December 28, 2003. This is the big one. I've fielded questions from lots of people over the last few years when they find information posted about Jeffrey's projects and whatnot; announcements and dates and details and all that stuff. The big sites are really good at posting information... they have people that work for them with connections and their job is to find things out and post them. Problem is, lots of things get posted before they're actually confirmed. IF YOU'RE NOT READING IT HERE, IT MAY NOT BE FINAL. Most of the time their info jives with mine, but remember, I get mine directly from the horse's mouth when AND ONLY when everything is finalized and contracts are signed! |

| I know it took several weeks.. but the great surprise is that you'll get to see Jeffrey every day, in your own home... for free! No, he's not making house calls. All My Children has asked Jeffrey to return as Zarf. He starts filming in the next couple of weeks... we'll try to let you know more about when his episodes will air as we find out. |

| Well, well... here we are. Fall has begun... and we haven't seen each other in a long time, have we? No, but we'll be talking soon, I'm sure. I'm not speaking gibberish, my friends. Jeffrey will be coming out of the woodwork soon, and he'll be around for a little while longer than we've been used to. What am I talking about? I know... and of course Jeffrey knows... and you'll know soon. Promise ;) |
